Welcome to Summer June 1-July 31, 2026
You can make your Android texts more expressive by combining emojis and GIFs. Most Android devices support both, and you can send them easily through your messaging app or keyboard.
Open Messages (Google Messages) and start a new or existing conversation.
Tap the text field to bring up the keyboard.
Tap the smiley face/emoji icon to open the emoji and GIF menu.
GIFs: Look for the GIF tab (icon of an animated image) and browse or search for a GIF. Tap it to insert into your message thetechylife.com+1.
Emojis: Tap the emoji icon to scroll through categories and select one.
Install and set Gboard as your default keyboard in Settings > System > Languages & input > Virtual keyboard > Default keyboard WikiHow.
In Messages, tap the text field and bring up Gboard.
Tap the GIF icon (animated image) to search and send GIFs.
You can also type emojis directly in Gboard’s emoji panel.
Install Giphy from the Google Play Store.
Open Messages, tap the text field, and tap the green message icon in Giphy’s search bar.
Browse or search for a GIF, then tap it to send WikiHow.
Save a GIF from your browser or app to your Downloads folder.
In Messages, tap the Images icon (camera or folder icon) and select your saved GIF WikiHow.
Device variations: On Samsung devices, you may need to tap the Plus icon to access GIFs; on Pixels, the GIF button may be direct thetechylife.com.
Data usage: GIFs use data; consider Wi‑Fi for large files.
MMS limits: Some GIFs may be too large for SMS; MMS is needed for larger files.
By combining emojis for tone and GIFs for visual humor or context, you can make your Android texts more engaging and fun.

That’s it.
